The Palette Pulse: August Art Vibes

August 14, what? Life, please slow down! I'm looking forward to the rest of August, and I hope you are too.

"Outside of the Box" is a juried show at the New Mexico Art League that celebrates imagery that doesn't fit into a specific category. My piece, "Holy Radiance," was chosen for this show. I currently have three pieces displayed at Chicky's Coffee Shop in Bernalillo. The owners are lovely people who proudly showcase local artists' work. Another bonus of visiting is that they serve fantastic coffee. I have applied to an art residency with the Albuquerque Arts Hub. The residency program involves engaging in learning opportunities, participating in facilitated conversations with peers, and building skills and knowledge related to being an artist-entrepreneur. Only 12 applicants will be accepted, so I'm hoping for the best!
