The Palette Pulse: March Art Vibes
It's already March 5, and I thought, what have I forgotten to do? I thought maybe it was a computer thing. I felt perhaps it had to do with art. I figured it out, and here I am doing the thing - and I look forward to it- so it baffles me why I forgot to do it on the first of the month.
The great news is that I have a lot going on for a retired person. I think I have a routine, but I don't want my routine to be my job. So, I will tell myself that forgetting to write this newsletter on March 1 means I'm being flexible with my routine. Let's roll with it.
Every year, the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America chooses artists affected by MS to showcase their work. It's aptly called the MSAA Artist Showcase. I am so proud to be included in this showcase for the fifth straight year. Here is my page, if you'd like to check it out: 2024 NMSS Artist Showcase
I am also enjoying my new job as one of the Social Media Specialists at the New Mexico Committee for the Women in the Arts. I share the job with my friend Rosario, and I think we make an excellent team. Please give us a follow on Instagram @NewMexicoWomenintheArts
My webpage is soon to change again. I am updating my original art for sale, and I would love for you to find something that speaks to you. If you’d, like to purchase it you can send me an email and we can figure out all of the details. This way, I can send it directly to you and avoid the middleman. I'll try this out for a bit, and if it doesn't work, I may create an Instagram store. Either way, you'll be the first to know. The new page should be live by the end of the week.
Spring is in the air here in New Mexico: warmer temperatures, windy days, and dog hair everywhere.
Here's to keeping a routine, being flexible, forgetting things, and being okay with everything!
