June Art News

Thank you for taking the time to read my art news. I appreciate you.

What's in store for me in these pre-summer days? I am gearing up for travel, so I pack an art bag filled with every possible art supply I can think of. Then I lug the bag to my destination and, maybe, use two or three items in the bag and call it good. I tell myself to leave most of it at home next time, but I don't listen.

Since my Mom passed in January of 2022, I haven't started any new paintings besides small, personal ones I've given as gifts. It's not a complete art block; it's more of a lack of inspiration block. I still create art cards like the ones below. I still work on pieces that I haven't finished. I watch videos, follow creatives on Instagram, and spend hours in my art studio. Some day I'll fall into something new. Until then, I'll think about my Mom and maybe create something she would love.

If you'd like me to send you one of my art cards, please let me know and send me your address. I'll throw one in the mail for you.

Enjoy your pre-summer! I'll be traveling with my HUGE bag of supplies hoping for some greatness to fly out of my brain and onto a new canvas.

Cheers,

Leslie
