August Art News
It's August 7, and I'm a bit late to send you this desktop calendar, but you get to have it for 3/4 of the month. Also, how is it already August 7?
I'm sitting in my art studio looking and smelling the first rain in at least two months here in New Mexico. I'm hoping it'll quell the burning fires around us...fingers crossed. I'm also listening to Carole King's Tapestry album - it's the best album in my collection!
Artwise, I started the month making more art cards. They pull me out of my funk. They get my artistic juices flowing. They help try out different colors. They are great for practicing paint mixing. Most of all, they make me happy.
Now that August is in full swing, I'm ready to clear my shelves and walls and sell some original paintings. Please visit my webpage in about a week to see what's for sale. The prices include shipping. Thank you for supporting my artistic journey. Have fun shopping. If you'd like to take something home that I've already sold the original of, please head over to my Redbubble, Threadless, or TeePublic sites for prints, magnets, wearable art, etc. The links are on my website.
Have an incredible 3/4 of August!
Cheers,
Leslie
